Visitors to this geographical wonder have been left astonished as to what happened when they poured out water from their cans right at the top of dam.

Instead of the water flowing downwards to the earth, it splashed back right to the faces of those who poured them. Hmm, so what happened, was gravity suspended ?

Well, here’s the little explanation, the shape of the dam works with the wind in that region to propel light objects coming down at it upwards, in reverse motion. Hence if you visit the Hoover dam, with some solid rock and throw it off expecting to bounce back, you’d be disappointed because surely it won’t.

It works only with water, because is light and can be carried by the wind backwards.
